Assignment Management
Create and allocate assignments by standard and division,
track submission status, and check if submitted before the due date.
How Assignment Management Works
The Assignment Management module enables faculty to create assignments for students, specify all details including title, description, due date, subject and marks, then allocate them to students by standard and division. Submissions are tracked separately — faculty can see each student's submission status, submission date, uploaded file and scored marks all in one place.
Assignments Menu & List View
The Assignments menu (under the Assignments tab) lists all created assignments with their Name, Subject, Faculty, Type, Issued Date, Submission Date, Allocated To, Submissions count, Total Marks and State.
Two sub-menus are available:
- Assignments— create and manage assignment records
- Submissions— track all student submissions separately
- States:Draft → Published → Finished → Cancel
- Submission Count shown as a smart button at the top
Assignment Form — General Information & Allocation
The Assignment Form captures all details of the assignment. In the Assignment Form you have the ability to create assignments and allocate them to students according to their standard and division. This process allows you to specify the details of each assignment, including its title, description, due date, and any additional instructions.
The form has two tabs:
- General Information tab— Issued Date, Submission Date, Total Marks, Description (e.g. 'Science Project')
- Allocation tab— lists all students allocated to this assignment with Name, Standard, Division and Roll Number
- Subject, Faculty, Assignment Type, Standard, Division and Year all set in the header
- ClickPublishto make the assignment visible to students
- The Allocation page provides clear visibility into which students are responsible for completing the assignment
Note: This page includes the date when the assignment was issued (when students received it) and the submission date (the deadline to submit completed assignments).
