Timetable Management
Create, validate and lock class timetables per standard — define
lecture duration, start times, and give students portal access to their schedule.
How Timetable Management Works
The Timetable module allows administrators to build structured weekly class schedules for every standard and division. Each timetable defines the lecture duration, the first lecture start time, and assigns a faculty member to each subject slot for each day of the week (Monday to Saturday). Once the schedule is finalised, it is Validated to check for conflicts, then saved as the official timetable. Students and parents can view the timetable directly from the portal.
Timetable — List View & Form
The Timetable is accessed through the Students navigation bar. A timetable record is created per standard, division and academic year. The form shows the timetable ID (e.g. 8/C/2015-2016), Standard, Division and Academic Year.
Each timetable has two sections:
- Student tab— lists all students in that standard/division with their roll numbers
- Day tabs(Monday through Sunday) — each day has Period, From time, To time, Subjects, Faculty, Date and Day columns
- Add subjects and faculty per period for every day of the week
- Here you can create a timetable for Monday through Saturday and add periods according to your requirements for each day
